Pinecones and Pumpkins Fall Mantel
Welcome back! Today I’m super excited to share my Fall mantel! As you all know it is very hard to find seasonal decor here in Japan. Even though we don’t have a wide selection of home decor stores we have to think positive and creatively.
Last year I did a blue/brown combo color theme for Fall and I’m sticking with those colors this year too. Although, I’ll be adding more browns to my fall decor. You’ll still see the blue, but I’ll be focusing on the warm browns.
I also decided to decorate with pinecones again this year! I just love the rustic and earthiness they bring. I didn’t have this mantel last year so, as you can see I’m very excited to decorate it for the holidays. So let’s start with my Fall mantel!
Pinecones, pumpkins, leaves, and hay is all it took to decorate this mantel. When I decorate our home, I choose a color scheme and style that best fits my home. I then apply that rule and repeat it throughout the whole house.
I made this pinecone gardland and painted some Daiso pumpkins to fit my color scheme.
Added some leaves a wreath and that’s all there is to it! Everything is so simple and this mantel is ready for Fall.
Don’t forget to check out all the Fall Mantels below!!

AshleyIsn’t the wreath great! I saw it at a local Japanese flower shop and I couldn’t pass it up. I still have no idea what it’s made from, but it looked Fall-ish to me heheh

Would love to know what that wreath is made of.

AlexandraOh my goodness, Alexandra! I wish I knew! I thought it was the most unique looking wreath at the flower shop and I couldn’t help myself but buy it. I asked the shop owner what it was made of, but they only speak Japanese hehe I tried pulling out my google translate but I don’t think he understood what I was asking. Every time I see it on the mantel I wonder the same thing… what could that be! I will do some research and let you know 🙂
