Simple Halloween Decorating

Welcome back! Today I’m sharing a simple way you can decorate for Halloween without spending to a lot of money. Since I’m still working on our home the living room is pretty much the only room that’s completely done. Let’s just say that this has been the hardest move yet. I feel like moving would be a lot easier if we didn’t have to move right when the holidays are about to begin. I wasn’t even sure if I was going to decorate for Halloween this year. My kids were in shock when I told them that I wasn’t going to go all-out for Halloween. My kids love Halloween, and it made me sad because they are so used to decorating the entire home during the holidays and seasons. I did promise them that I would decorate, but it was going to be super simple. I had to find a way to make Halloween fun this year without spending tons of money on new decorations.

So here’s my take on simple Halloween home decor.

I decided to use some of my favorite Halloween decor that I’ve collected throughout the years. Like the white ceramic pumpkins, black crows, and spiders. It wouldn’t be Halloween without real pumpkins so I bought a few.

This bat pillow is one of my favorite DIY’s! I have a feeling I’m going to be using it for many more years, you can find the DIY tutorial HERE.

The skeleton cutout is from Target and it was only $7… what a steal! Plus it adds a spooky charm to the room and the kids love it.

I don’t know about you, but having No Wifi can be a really scary thing!

This little Halloween banner is 8 years old. I always find myself taking it out every year and find a new special place to hang it.
